New Feature

Write the rules once.

Every reservation lands in a segment that decides what a guest sees and when. Messaging, services and offers follow from there.

Your rules

  • LongstayLaundry, weekly clean
  • Weekend check-inLate check-out, parking
  • Returning guestWelcome back offer

A segment decides what a guest is told, when, and what is offered.

  • Wording

Give a segment its own message text. A WhatsApp variant needs a separate approval from Meta.

  • Timing

Add a segment variant to a notification to change its send time, or skip the message.

  • Services

Offer a service or a shop item only to the segments you choose.

  • Content

Show or hide Guest Journey content per segment.

Every criterion, combined your way.

Build named segments for each property from details of the reservation and the guest.

  • Rate plan
  • Booking channel
  • Nights
  • Arrival day
  • Unit group
  • Guest history
  • Booked services
  • Purpose of stay

Three examples, three different stays.

  • Longstay

    Criteria

    • Nights
    • Rate plan
    • Weekly cleaning, offered only from 21 nights
    • Laundry on offer
    • An earlier check-in reminder in its own wording, for guests on a chosen rate plan
  • Weekend check-in

    Criteria

    • Arrival day
    • No check-in introduction, because the front desk takes care of these guests in person
    • Late check-out and parking on offer
  • Returning guest

    Criteria

    • Guest history
    • A welcome back offer
    • An icon in the Reservations table, so your team sees who is back

Set up in three steps.

  1. Add your first rule

Open Settings → Guest Journey → Guest Segmentation. Each property has its own rules.

  2. Order your rules

Rule order is the priority, so the most specific rule goes to the top.

  3. Check it, then publish

Under Configured Templates, you see which text a guest receives, without a test message. Then publish the rule.

Nothing changes until you publish.

  • LIKE MAGIC checks segments when they are needed instead of storing them. So a rate change or a room move counts immediately.

  • A published rule applies to existing reservations at once.
