Valais tourism businesses receive up to CHF 2,000 in funding for digital guest solutions
Sion, October, 2025 – The canton of Valais is driving digital transformation in tourism: through the Digitourism program, hotels and other tourism providers can receive funding of up to CHF 2,000 per project. The goal is to embed digital innovation within operations and thereby increase both efficiency and guest satisfaction in a sustainable way. Swiss hospitality tech company LIKE MAGIC has been selected as an official technology partner. The platform enables a fully connected, contactless guest journey – from online booking to check-in and check-out – simplifying workflows, reducing routine tasks, and unlocking new revenue potential.
“This funding program gives Valais tourism businesses the opportunity to further develop their guest experiences in a modern and professional way,” says Markus Feller, CEO of LIKE MAGIC. “We guide businesses step by step – from the funding application to go-live – ensuring that digitalization delivers tangible added value.”
Benjamin Traffelet, Head of Innovation & Services at Revier Hospitality Group, who has already benefited from the program, adds: “This partnership between Swiss Digitourism and LIKE MAGIC is exactly what the region needs: practical innovation that is accessible for every hotel. We can already see the positive impact on our operations and guest feedback.”
The funding significantly lowers the barrier to entry for digital solutions, making it possible even for smaller businesses to implement innovations that might otherwise be financially out of reach.
Since 2021, Digitourism has already supported more than 589 projects across Valais, playing a key role in advancing the industry’s digital transformation.
Funding is distributed on a first come, first served basis. Once the allocated budget has been used up, no further applications will be accepted. Interested businesses can check their eligibility and book a non-binding LIKE MAGIC demo at: https://likemagic.tech/de/digitourism
